This repair is in reference to the crack
that frequently happens to the engine block where the engine block
heater installs. The crack is found starting from the block heater
hole cracking toward the front of the engine block. The crack will
be about 4 inches long. The repair process
can be done with motor still in the vehicle. We remove
the block heater and repair the crack on the vehicles replacing the
heater with a expandable plug. We suggest installing a lower
radiator hose block heater instead of the original block heater.
